Default can i drop the crossmember?

can i pull the crossmember and drop the oil pan??? i need to get to my O ring for the oil pump... because i have no oil pressure.. and id rather not pull the water pump, balancer, and timing cover.....

so can i pull the crossmember and drop the oil pan??? or would it be easier to pull the front of the motor back apart???

To get at the o ring you have to lower the oil pan slightly, I'd say you could do it either way depending on which one you're more comfortable with.
