Default Can Denali with 4Q steering be dynoed on two?

I plan on twisting up my 02' Denali. I need to be able to tune it on the dyno. With the all wheel drive it obviously is not going to happen on a rear driven dyno. I wonder if I removed the front shaft it would throw all kinds of codes or ruin something?

I know they make 4 wheel dyno's but the guys I work with for tuning are all set up on a DynoJet 248 rear unit. Anyone got any ideas??
