Default cammin my truck

sup guys. while searching on the forum i came across this link. http://youtube.com/watch?v=LVGuamJrnv0&feature=related sounds great and i want mine to sound like it too will my stock 5.3 accept this kind of cam swap? or do i have to swap out heads and other parts?

yes it will work but you need just cam and valve springs

I have the same cam, Bought a set of supporting springs and chroemolly pushrods, after cam install and tune i found a gain of about 5o rwhp. The cam i have is a trickflow from summitracing.com for 269.95.....

cam---- $275-$405
springs-- $50-$150
rods---- $90-$115

depends on what kind of combo you want and how high you want it to rev.

You cant go wrong with this setup cause its proven, I love it, But i am still in the proces of getting a converter. But you will be realy satisfied.

i bought a cam kit from Texas Speed >>>

the kit came with cam, springs and pushrods. about $600 for the kit

i took my heads to O'riley's and they cleaned them up and put new seats in them for about $60 bucks i think it was.
