cam swap price hefty?

lol, price has gone up in the last couple of years I guess Was that for rods and springs too? We did cam only as I had already upgraded the springs/rods.

like I said, my mechanic ain't cheap

I guess it has gone up since then...but he's the only one i trust workin on my truck...that was just cam install

labor rate is prob between 85-100 per hour. labor books pay 10.8 for a cam swap only. most shops that do enough of these know how easy they are and won't charge you that much.

i got quoted over $2,700 for a cam and a custom stall i thought that was preety Steep Being that 2 of my other buddys, between them payed OVER $13,000 for work on their trucks very recentley this was his price list ...

I Dont Remember the Exact price of each part but it was something like this

cam kit 750
custom Stall 650
trans cooler 165
cam install 750
Stall+transcooler install 400

something like that ...
BUT He knows what the **** he's doing thats all he does is Gm he claims he has the worlds fastedt f body there
the place is called late model racecrat
