Are there any good articles/instructions on a cam swap for the 5.3s? thx

Just about the same as the LS1 articles, except you ignore the parts about bleeding and unhooking the AC system.

and the link below. Yeah I learned the hard way that you don't need to vent the a/c coolant. the cam will fit between the block and the condensor.
