Default cam/stall for towing

I was just wanting to see what cam and stall combos would be good for makin some good performance but yet still be good for towing my race car to the track.
Since my new transmission is already going out im wantin to put in a 3000 stall in when i get the i got now warrantied and i was looking at the TR220 or 224 cams..how well would these cam tow with?

im gonna say not so well... their comes a point when you cant have the best of everything. I only tow a 8ft trailer and 4wheeler behind mine and it towed fine before I slapped in the cam and gutted the cats. I know you arent supposed to tow in OD much, but that light load should be no prob in OD right? Well after the cam it just has no towing power when the verter locks.. in any gear but OD its fine and dandy.. just once you get moving and the truck goes into OD you can feel the load unlike before. Maybe a stall would help me some...

I do know if you want to tow, then you shouldnt go bigger than a 3000 stall roughly.. im probably gonna get the yank 2600 or TB stall for mine..
oh and I only have a 210/218 cam also. It tows decent, but nothing like it did with the stock cam and cats

Well, I'm of a different opinion:

MY 210º/218º Vinci cam tows MUCH better than the stock cam did.....WAY more low-end and it still pulls like crazy up top, ALOT of that has to do with tuning but even untuned it ran like a champ

The weekend after I did my cam install I towed a Jeep/trailer combo from Riverside, CA to Dumont Dunes....I had towed this combo 4 or 5 times previously and it was certainly a workout for the truck, after the cam install the truck seemed like it wasn't working so hard and gas mileage went up alomst 2mpg from the previous trips. I'm still on the stock stall so I can't help there

if you go with a TR can stick with the TR220 as the biggest you want if you're still gonna tow....don't go bigger than a 2600 stall for towing either

yelo, did you get the 114lsa or 112? I wish i had the 112 cause I think that has a little more low end

if i bump my truck back into 3rd towing its a beast though.. just anything in OD suks
