If your doing a cam you might as well spend the extra $ and do pushrods and springs. I just put the comp 212/218 114 in as well as comp pushrods and the guy that does alot of my work favors the K-Motions over the Comp Springs but still will use the comps. Good luck with the mod!

Id look into the Crane duals or a set of the K-Motion or Patriot springs. IMHO I would avoid the 918's at all costs. This being said after the trouble I have seen people encounter with the 918's. Thunders 7.4" rods will work perfect.

p.s what is the difference between the thunder racing 224/224 and the comp cam i see the lsa is the same and the lift looks to be about the same but everything from thunder the driveability seems to be !@#% whats the deal.

again i want another cam so bad i can taste it but thunders 224/224 is so-so driveability and comps 228/230 is so-so with the same 112 lsa???? maybe some one could help me with this too sorry is so long
check this link out, https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=99118 lots of reading there, youve probablyl already read it, just basically says that tr uses different lobes, as far as the 918's go, if theyre the redesigned blue stripe they will be fine. havent seen any problems yet with the blue stripes.
