Default cam springs.. couple of q's sorry kinda long

another cam question i like my current cam god knows i havent even got it tuned yet but when i put my just in her in another month or two i was wanting to go with a bigger cam (now that i have the smell of blood i just cant get enough ) i was going to get a 224/224 and i see on yelos sticky that it recommends some 918 springs i have some of the 04 ls6 springs do you think those would suffice or not if not please lemme know because i think that would be all kinds of fun having something like that in my 5.3 and i hear a lot of people actually have it and am looking forward to what some of you all think about it especially if you had another cam in your truck before that one

p.s what is the difference between the thunder racing 224/224 and the comp cam i see the lsa is the same and the lift looks to be about the same but everything from thunder the driveability seems to be !@#% whats the deal.

again i want another cam so bad i can taste it but thunders 224/224 is so-so driveability and comps 228/230 is so-so with the same 112 lsa???? maybe some one could help me with this too sorry is so long

Talking

you will have tp go to 918's minmum. 230 is a bit much on these trucks unless you have like a 3200 stall.

You need to get the 7.4" hardened pushrods. They are available from many vendors. I got mine from Thunder Racing. I haven't put mine in yet. Its just been to cold, I have a heated garage but I will do it in the early spring. Its to cold to fool with right now. I bought the cam used from a member on here. Its the TR224/224 581/581 112lsa.

Give an example. Which two cams are you referring to off of Yelo's page, that have equal specs but different driveability?
