Default Cam Specs...Feedback pls

Specs; 214/218 559/562 w/ 1.6, 114 lobe center
I will be putting this into a 370...LQ9 .050 overbore with RHS proaction heads:
Flow #s
I E
100 66 54
200 136 111
300 196 154
400 246 198
500 276 244
600 291 254
700 289 258
Flowed with a 4.060 bore
Chamber size 66
236 cc intake
Diamond pistons custom heads match. I'll be putting the new Maggie MP122 on top of all this and drive with a 4l80 and stock 3.73 rr end. Dynatech LT's and hi-flo cats, mag cat back...might even add some NoS later on. Any recommendations? Haven't picked a TC yet but planning on 2800 range.

Some might say it's small, but I think it'll be a good match with a heavy avalanche. Torque is gonna be crazy and you're gonna need it with the weight. Should haul ***!

Ill be the first to say it then. THATS TOO SMALL It may work with the charger good but to me seems a little small for the 370. Hell go get it on the rollers, then put it on the track and let us know.

I dont understand a whole hell of a lot about cams for FI, but I would think something around the 218-222 range would liven it up a bit. If it were me Id try something along the lines of a 222/225 114 with a 2800-3000 converter, but I also daily drive a Z-71 with a 223/226 and a 3200 converter. I do mostly highway driving, but a fair amount around town and in the mud also, and I love it. I would like a slightly smaller cam (I want to try a 220/220) but what I have seems to work great for me.

Looks like a good choice especailly for stock verter.
Id go with less aggressive lobes to limit overlap if you dont have it ground already or more aggressive lob and higher angles

Considering that you're running a Radix, that cam will work rather well. With those heads the blower is likely to be too small rather than the cam.
