I'll be installing a 208°/216°/113° with lift of .500''/.500'' in a few weeks. RPM's 1500-5200. Sounds very similar to 99silveradoSS's. I'm sure I'll like the lope. Hopefully it'll push me over 300rwhp too.

ok, Now im leaning towards a custom grind.

I was thinking a 212/218 5.22/5.29 112 LSA

Im trying to find the ultimate cam for my truck.

I want to gain torque, pull hard through midrange, and still be able to retain 6000 RPM shift points. Also I would I love to have the choppy idle

So what do you guys think would be a nice custom grind??

thanks again

I would go with lower lift just for reliability reasons.

A 114 lsa will be more stock tune friendly too.

This is the one I have and I love it. The bottom end power feels awesome and it pulls all the way to the top.

My shift points are at 6100 and Allen says I could go a bit higher, but I want a built tranny first. I would stick with the 114 lsa just for tuning reasons. The 112 becomes a bit more difficult to tune for. Allen would probably be able to handel it though.

"I was looking at the crane cam site, and it was saying the rpm range was from like idle - 5200?

how does it perform/sound in your application?

thanks bud"

My Mid-range torque kicks *** with this cam! And the horsepower pulls very hard until the 5900 shift points. I think I lost a little low-end by having true duals with straight-through exhaust and bigger tires. I think this would be the perfect cam for your truck. The idle sounds really good. After having the idle raised, its not as big of a lope as it was, but Everyone can tell it isn't stock. I still get questions asked about my truck all the time,"You gotta cam in that truck...I ain't ever heard a cam in these newer ones". Let me know if you have anymore questions.
