I think thats a little big for the 4.8, I would do a 206/212 or something like that since he doesnt want a big stall.

I have the gt2-3 and its definately an upper-rpm cam. I made peak torque at 5000rpm and peak hp at 6400rpm. It is very smooth though and has a pretty flat torque curve.

A TR220 too big for a 4.8? I don't think so... especially if he's willing to do a stall around 3000. It won't be the fastest cam setup given his restrictions, but it will definitely put down some power
