Default Cam Question

Hey all I was wondering about a cam a friend of mine has, its a comp cam 236 238 @ 50 581 581 Lift 115 centerline. I have a whipple supercharger with 10 lbs of boost in a 99 silverado with a 5.3. He is selling it and I would like to buy it just not sure if it will fit and run nice in truck. thanks

what does the @ 50 mean?
not sure but wouldn't you want a little more lift on the exhaust side?

That's how all cam specs are referenced. The actual duration are higher than the given specs.

That is a standard used. It is duration @.050" lobe lift.

yes 236 238 @50 is the duration of the cam lobe lift with the valve lift at 581 581 for intake and exhaust with 115 lobe seperation for centerline but was wondering if it would be a good cam for my truck with a supercharger.
