Default Need help with this fuel rail see pic?

okay i'm an idiot but i can't get this fuel rail off. this is from a 98 GM 454 (7.4L). all the bolts are out. Wires out of the way. i removed the bastard injector clips. the injectors will move in the manifold and in the rail but not enough to clear either. its like one side is fighting the other. i just hate to break stuff. has anyone removed one of these. do i just have to give it hell or what? thanks, rick

its an odd angle to tap it with a hammer.. but anyway to maybe use a screwdriver and a hammer to pry it out the old fashioned way.. looks simple from the pic.. but i know what you mean by "fighting each other"... applying equal pressure to both sides wont let it come out either? No fuel pressure left huh?
