whats it sound like at idle and everywhere else compared to the stock cam? is it noticable?
i want a nasty grumpy idle.

 

im sure you can hear the 212 cam

as for the fbody cams you cant hear them.. perfect for daily drivers

 

Don't mean to jack your thread, but I too am looking for a good cam. I would love to get some lowend power and torque, turning 38s takes alot out of the truck. I am thinking of doing heads and a cam, not sure though on what to get. I also am getting a used TCI 3000 stall cheap, as well as HP Tuners, so I should be ok with something a bit bigger than a ls6 or zo6 cam right?

 

The 212/218 558/563 on 115 lobe sep. is a good cam also.

 

marc_w's 112º lsa lopes a little more than mine....but mine is VERY noticable, you would NEVER mistake it for a stock cam
