Default Cam position sensor removal necessary for cam swap?

Does anyone know if the Cam position sensor needs to be removed to do a cam swap in a 4.8? Thanks

No sir, the cam pos sensor is located in the top rear of the engine right next to the oil pressure sender, it will be just fine were it is at!
