Default Cam or pacesetter lt's and ory ?????!!!!!!

Anyone know what pacesetter lt's with the ORY pipe with Corsa sounds like on a 5.3L? I'm still debating weather or not to get the pacesetter headers and y-pipe now or start getting my cam stuff? I have found a great deal on a vinci 047 cam and VHP tuner ($600).But I won't have the funds to get everything else and get the cam installed for a while but I could get the headers and y-pipe now and have them installed and then sell my shorties and then start getting my cam stuff. What should I do?

personally, i'd go w/ the headers first. thats what i did. the stock manifolds will be even more of a restriction w/ a bigger cam. CHIP

Gota be carfull with Corsa because they tune the system to be quiet with stock manifolds and cats.Muffler has sound chambers that are tuned for stock set up.Put a corsa on a friends truck 5.3 with a radix, cam, dynatech lt's with cats.Sounded like he had open headers at wot.Took it of 2 days later.

yeah, I've already got shorty headers. would there be a noticeable gain if I went to longtubes after having shorties.

The Corsa on a catless 5.3 will get raspy.

Id do headers and y-pipe before a cam. Long tubes have a BIG gain over shorties!! Shorties arent really much better than stock manifolds.

I have first hand knowledge of this (check my sig ) I plan to do LT's in the future (still deciding which ones since there isn't a whole lot out there for 4x4's)
