It's a custom grind from TSP.

It comes on strong, real strong, at 4500. I have a 3000 on an 80e.

It would be a lot better. You better have someone ready to tune it in person though, cause it's a bitch to get dialed in. Part throttle tuning is the easy part, it's the idle and just off idle that's the trouble.

Gears will help too.

hey flyer when is the 60e going in? are your heads on the 5.3 still stock or minor adjustments been done to them? When is the next time for the track for ya?

also do you have to have some different springs than 918's or will those work with that big of a cam?

Coil bind on 918s is .600 lift you should be fine with them.

Im going to run .595 lift on my 918s till I get my DART heads in.

Anybodies guess man depends on how much you drive, how hard you drive it and all that. Some poeple have 918s that have been on their truck for 70,000 miles and not have a problem but with the higher lift I would think it would accelerate the demise of the springs but how much I dont know. You could always pull one off every once in a while and put it on a spring tester.
