cam,lifters, and rollers for 5.7
#1
I'm starting to get into the internal engine stuff and was wondering if any of yall have ideas or suggestions on installing a cam, lifters, and roller rockers. The engine is a 1996 vortec 5.7 with only cold air, magnaflow duals, and hypertech programmer. I know the computer will have to be sent off with a new cam so prolly wheatly or blackbear for that. Also will these mods have to be done together or at different times? Its still my dd so nothing to wild. Also what times can i expect from these mods? Im running et of 8.00 in the 1/8 mile. would like good 7.5 or better or is that asking to much? And sorry for the long post! Thanks and much appreciation guys!

i am going to use a lt4 hot cam when i get the cash to buy everything then use a 3000 stall.. gunna do the stall first then the cam cause the stock engine will benifit from the stall then when i do the cam it will be good to go .
