cam installed, wont idle when warm

Default cam installed, wont idle when warm

2001 chevy 5.3 99k miles. just installed my comp cam and it ran like a champ for the first 10-15 minutes of idle when the engine was cold. as it warmed up it didnt worsen until i started giving it some gas and keepin it up to no more than 3k. then i let off and it died. it kept doin that unless you gave it gas. even when i try to drive it it died. i let it cool down then drove it around and it did fine.

i know it needs a retune but will that make this problem go away with that? or do i need to take off the throttle body and drill out the idle air hole?

help me.

and also it drives fine no stumbles or misses until you let off and start coasting or braking and the rpms get low then it shuts off.

sounds like throttle cracker/follower need to be adjusted. Dont drill the tb, just get a tune.

get it tuned, dont drill a hole in the throttle body!
