so what do you guys think do you think a TSP 228/228 on a 112LSA is a good streetable cam that still is gunna give me some decent hp increase.

You'll want at least a 3400 stall converter with that cam.

00chevyscott runs that cam in his 5.3 if im not mistaken. With a good gear/converter setup it will be a mean SOB

i have a 2007 silverado ext cab 5.3l. i plan on gettin a stall that will match the size of the came when i decide on which one im going with. i also already have 4.10 gears and a tune with longtube headers. im jus lookin for somehtin to wake this thing up thats gunna be badass lol

im running the tsp 224r cam currently in my 5.3 With the added duration of the 228 i would reccomend no less than 3600 stall. I run a 3200 and it runs fine but i think it would've done better with a 3400ish.

that cam is going to want some more intake flow too. look for some ported heads to match and a tbss manifold for optimum performance. i would go smaller on the cam otherwise if you plan on staying with stock heads
