Looking for a cold air induction setup to get for my dad for his truck for christmas. I guess it would be a GMT900, since it's an 07, but was produced with the newer body style. 6.0 2500 HD. I know on my car anyway a lid is a lid is a lid, all get the same job done. Is a cai the same deal on these trucks? All perform about the same and you are just buying based on fit and quality? Doubt this truck will be getting many more mods, he just wants all of the silencer stuff on the OEM setup off and to be able to hear the air getting sucked in a bit more. So any suggestions on a setup? Will the setups for the 1500 trucks fit the same on 2500 as well or do they need a different setup? Newb when it comes to this platform and couldn't find much info on the HD's.
