F-body cars are knuckle grinders, aren't they? I getting ready to find out first hand (again) since I will be doing a head/cam swap in the near future (OUCH!!).

I don't understand why GM didn't use e-fans on the HD vehicles . As soon as I get the head/cam swap done on my T/A, I will start gathering parts for the e-fan swap.

My dealer (Munday Chevrolet) offered me all of those mods for a $7,000 option. Warrantied by GM too.
This is very cheap if you do the math. I had to turn down the option due to my better half .
If you can take up on that option, I would do it in a heart beat!
Is that the Joe Gibbs thingy? AFAIK, if you choose to do that, what will happen is that you don't get the fuel injectors and pump. It will be a detuned Radix. List price for Radix is about $5000. For $2000, you should be able to get it installed.

I'm thinking I may have to start a Radix fund in my bank account. After the odo clicks over 36K and the warranty runs out, I could have enough saved up.

The factory injectors still have room on my LQ9 6.0L HO engine for a Radix to run fine.
The $7,000.00 option included : Radix sc, CAI kit, Super chips tuned, the Corsa sport cat-back system, all installed, and all warrantied by GM for 5years or 100,000 mi's. I think that is a very cheap option!
Was hoping my ole lady was going to let me swing it, but her facial expression said different at the time of final purchase price!
What do you guys think?

Jim

I did ask Gibbs and they said that they leave the stock fuel injectors and don't add another fuel pump because it is detuned from what you would purchase so it doesn't void the warranty. I though they said pulley is also slower.

I like mine too. I've only had it for a couple of months and already it's leveled in the rear, billet GMC in front (cleans it up tremendously), debadged, limo'd windows, 20's and an in dash double-din touch screen cd/DVD/TV Tuner radio.
I was just going for a regular cab V6 to save gas and keep miles off my Camaro but for a few thousand more I figured I'd just get a truck I'll keep for a while.
