Buy a burned motor?
I might have a chance at an '04 Silverado SS. This is an LQ9 right? The description is "Lite burn".
If I'm looking at putting this in a '99 Silverado w/5.3, is there anything I should look for?
They just called back. Top of the motor is melted, intake, wire harness, coils, etc...hopefully the "metal parts" will be good.
Should I try and get the tranny and transfer case also? My current truck is 2wd, but I might end up with a 4wd 'burban/tahoe/yukon/xl.
