What would my 5.3 motor be worth ? Its got the following addition and made 355 to the wheel. Most likely be complete engine from oil pan to intake and coils

you will probably get more by parting it out. Nobody has any respect for the smaller engines

 

You aint kidding. I bought two 5.3L's for $244/piece, and just a week ago picked up a 4.8L for $265. All are full, running motors if I were to just drop them in. Of course, me being me, I can't leave a motor alone.


cmb570, I'd sell the heads on LS1tech. I'd also put your stock cam back in and sell the motor for parts, but keep the Comp camshaft for a later build or sell it to a friend or something.

 

Sell me the cam if it's around a 210-212/218ish cam
