Trying to explain how the system realy works:

First step:
Only turbo 1 is powered, because turbo 2 is blocated because the exhaustegases cant go thrue the closed flap after the turbine....
Also the flap after the compressor from turbo 2 is closed so that turbo 1 can`t blow boost he already produce in to the compressor 2.

Second step:
Preespooling. For the reason that turbo already spinn till it can produce high boost, there is a preespoolvalve how helps to spinn turbo 2. To that time when turbo 2 produce the same boost as turbo 1, the air how is produced in compressor 2 (because the turbine is already spinned by the preespoolvalve) can go throu the reed valve (a one-way-valve) in the bypass from the closed flap after compressor two.

Third step:
Fullthrottle, turbo 2 is full in operation. The flap after the turbin is fully opend, air flap after compressor is opend. The turbos run parallel now! THe boost gets controlled by the wastegate in turbo 1.

So i hope you can follow my bad description.....

Hope you like it!

BTW Sorry about my bad english, but im living in switzerland!

If you only wanting 400hp then why not just get a normal T60 or T67 and make an STS setup? Seems like it will cost alot less than what your trying to build not to mention, you could go threw all that trouble and expense for something that might not even work... I am all for people trying different things and experimenting but your idea (no offense) is designed for a motor that develps power in totaly different areas than our V8.... Not to mention it is half the size...

Ah yeah really? Sorry i dont know that the engine are that strong...
But anyways 400+hp are enought form me, i need the car every day, and take it also for vacation... I dont wanna have a hp monster only a bit more power. And like i sad: I love to built complex stuff like that. If it not work i put a single on it.

So i already got all the stuff left over from my supra-days. I only need a few valves.... Thats not so expensive like a whole sts setup or a big 60-1 or t-70 turbo.
And if it would work there would be a great potential for REAL big hp with very fast spooling.

Best of luck with it, not sure if you'll get much support from us but we would love to see it work!
