Default Budget 6.0 Build

I'm thinking about getting an LQ4 short block. Then putting on a set of ported 5.3l heads that I have sitting around. I'll be using a stock short block, just a re-ring and new berring rebuild. Then I was going to use a set of used LQ9 injectors, manley pushrods, slp double roller timing chain, and oil pump. Then for cam I was thinking of going with the LS1 Hot cam.

I'm looking to get around 450hp out of it but have a reliable engine. I'm also looking to do it as cheaply as possible. Using the parts I've listed i'm guessing I can do it for $2k.

Just wanted to see what you guys think of this kind of build up, and what tips you might give.

Thanks

pretty much the same setup im running but im on stock ls1 heads with a comp 232 cam in a scsb. never had it dynoed or ran in the quarter but the 1/8 it runs 8.30s with no stall and street tires. I paid 1,100 for a fresh built short block from hke and paid 1700 for install and gaskets and everything.
