Broken inner spring

Default Broken inner spring

After figuring out it wasn't a tune or injector problem, I thought I'd post it up here. I found a broken inner valve spring on my PRC 675 duals. Truck has had a misfire ever since the dyno session. Could this be the cause? Its #7 exhaust.

that could def be it. cam specs and how many miles were on the springs?

Only around 4000 miles. Broke the springs in religiously. Must be a bad egg.

Just purchased new springs to see if i have a "weak" spring or something. basically just grasping at straws and throwing money/parts at it. i have no clue....

Haha, I feel ya. I'm more or less at that point too...you've spent way more time on yours though. Gonna do a compression test later to see if there is a fried exhaust valve. Have you checked that yet?
