Several places stated that they were 3/4 ton brakes w/ 6 lugs instead of 8 hence the fitment. I hope this helps some.

C3's came with 17" wheels too. Would you need the 17" or larger to clear them?

Also are the C3's rotors larger in diameter and thickness?

Elaborate more please.

Hey N8, I had to take the plunge, bent over without vaseline!!!. 380 for my cost pads and rotors for the rear. It helps not hearing the grinding noise any more but I am gonna be walking funny for a little while Later

Hit man, I am not sure to be honist with you. I wouldn't beleve so but I am not sure. If they are 3/4 ton brakes which come with 16"s wouldn't the 1/2 16"s fit?

Not Sure though,

Lenny

Hrm, well this shall take more investigation prolly. I asked about those Tahoe/Avalanche/Burban rear calipers a while ago...GM should include those on the heavy *** trucks like my Z71 too.

I think those C3 rotors you are talkin about are a larger diameter like the 2500 non HD and 2500HD ones...

The front calipers are the same on all half-ton models, both trucks and SUVs. I was thinking maybe you could buy some aftermarket rotors and pads. They would be cheaper and better than Chevys. Then go buy the calipers and capiler brackets, maybe at a junkyard. Just be sure you buy Burban aftermarket rotors.
I am not sure of the C3 brakes, if I remember I wil chek Monday.

Well like I said before Slowverado I believe that with the C3 you get at least bigger rotors and maybe even two piston calipers. Let me do some checking.
