brake torque

I assume you mean power stand or brake stand for burnouts???? could be too sticky of tires or your just not giving it enough gas, took me a little time before I got comfortable to hold the gas down till something happened....

Some trucks just won't do it. May be part of abuse mode coupled with a lack of TQ and too much traction.
My MGC 4x4 couldn't do a brake stand for it's life. It would never rev abouve 3k till I would let off the brake and then it would rev higher but then you start moving and getting traciton so it's kind of a waste. LOL
My 4.8L RCSB did it without much trouble but it wasn't a healthy burnout IMO.

abuse mode
thats it, remove it with a custom tuned PCM and you'll need new rubber in short order (not to mention a rebuild of your 4L60E not to long after and if you have a G80 that will go bye bye also)
if you want to smoke 'em be prepared to open the wallet in the near future.

When you have 100% of the TM removed, does that take care of the abuse mode or is that something different? I had Allen remove all TM and It's still hard to spin the tires. I have 2 washers in my shift kit and I can't scratch 2nd. I have 3.42s and 285/60/18 GTIIs.

Some trucks rear brakes come in harder than others too. My 05 having rear drums will do it real easy. I hardly have to press the brake pedal at all.
If your rear calipers are binding you are asking to snap somthing.
