Default Bottom End Help?

I have a 99' 4X4 2500 W/ the 6.0, and am just wondering if they all feel like mine.

From dead stop, its a dog till 3500 rpm, then it comes on like a banshee. It's got factory posi and 4:10's and 265's, shouldnt it break them loose pretty good?

Just Wonderin...

Thanks in advance.....Colby

it should spin them from a dead stop very easily.....

the major problem all of us in the high desert have is the temps.....120 deg ambient summer temps and the A/C running full blast isn't exactly conductive to high horsepower......I'm not sure why but the A/C pulls ALOT of HP away from the engine...and the outside temps aren't helping any

mine certainly pulls harder from 3000 on up...but it's no slouch down low either....I can stall the (stock) converter and in T/H mode I spin them all the way through first and into second on a cool day

BTW...where in Vegas do you live ??, I go in about once a week....maybe we can meet up somewhere sometime

Thanks for your reply.

Its good to see a 1/4 time for a nearly identical truck. I'm going to try to get to the test and tune at the dragstrip next weekend, so that should give me a good comparison to yours atleast.

I can tell ya right now though, that mine wont light them up through 1st. Even if I stall it out, it'll only roll them for 10ft or so. Wont even powerbrake (how redneck is that statement!)

I live in the NW part of town, only been here bout 3 months, moved down from MT.....little warmer here.

talk to ya later....Colby

let me know how the testing goes.....and remember, I can spin 'em through first when the weather is cooler...right now I can only get about 20 rotations on dry pavement by stalling it

weather makes a BIG difference
