Default BORLA MUFFLER 4.3l

I read in a magazine a while back about a 4.3l build up and was interested in doing the same. but i cant find the magazine. anyone see it? also what kinda power is to be had from swaping out the stick muffler to an aftermarket. i got a borla from a friends car and want to put it on my truck. what do you guys think

I know the article you are referring to, the build was done on one of the bowtie blocks which is different than the blocks that are in the stock trucks, so I dont think any of the GM performance parts they used will work on the newer motors, maybe on one of the older 4.3's but not a new one.

I only know of a buildup that was with a 4.5 liter iron block and it was one bad ****.
Marcel i wouldn't expect much out of that muffler swap but a few bolons can help like CAI, Tune, and if you can afford it a supercharger.

good god man I'm a student I can't afford a supercharger. But after i graduate in june and a little time i think i might. thanks for the input.....
