hey guys,

can i get the details on your engine build for those who have done a 5.3L forged build? bore/stroke/heads/crank/rods/pistons, i want to do something similar, small cubes and lots of boost.

3.622" Stock Forged Crank
6.100" Eagle "ESP" H-Beam Rods
Ported stock heads with ls-6 intake valves.

why not just bore/stroke it out to a 6.0 via LQ4/9?

 

??? are you saying to bore and stroke a 6.0 or to bore and stroke a 5.3 to 6.0 specs( cant be done)

 

i think he was sayin take the 5.3 out and put a 6.0 in........

 

in any case i was gonna run a forged 5.3 bored and stroked to a 383 but i was gonna run high compression N/A. i was going to run my stock 5.3 heads ported and milled .010 wich gives me just under 11.0 to 1 , probably a little more than you want to run with boost but that was my setup.
