Boost for sure. It will be cheaper in the long run, make more power, and will be easier to do. To build an engine you will need to go to a machine shop, buy parts that you will never get a return on, and be down for the install or removal(and that is only if you waste the money on a donor or core engine). If you buy a kit from one of the sponsors(or classifieds), it will bolt on without removing the engine, and you could always sell it later down the line.

Both. Im doing mine NA for now, but the drivetrain, fuel system etc is set up for more power. If I go FI, ill just swap cam, heads, and whatever parts on the motor that I need to. Ya it might cost a little extra, but the know how of pulling the motor apart this time will help me in the future I'm sure.

Right now my engine in my Silverado are stock 5.3. It's 175,000 miles on the clock. I'm plan to do locker eaton on the rearend then swap to 80e tranny you think I should do next boost turbo. On that kind mileage I have now. If so later I plan have longblock set up from Thomason motor sports. But the piston forged not stay last longer like 100,000 miles. Is that true ?

Might as well do boost and then save up for a built engine in case that 5.3 gives up.
