long tubes, good flowing exhaust, tune, get whatever converter you want, underdrive pulleys...but that will only feel good for awhile...then you'll want a baby cam and a retune...that will last about 1-2 months then you'll realize you want to rattle the ****** fenders off that rst and go with a bigger cam. once you got all that goin you'll want to go faster and you'll add a nitrous kit. once the new wears off of that you'll be searching for a used 6.0 or bigger...good luck man i suggest before every mod you do, do a search on this site about it.. i.e. throttle body spacer. you'll find tons of posts about how worthless it is...unless its drilled and tapped for nitrous. any question you have can be answered on this site.

I have thought about putting MSD coils on my truck. I just didn;t know if they yield any HP gains unless it was highly modified. I was told that the stock ignition (except for the wires) where fine unless it was turboed or blown.

Okay, How about this. MagnaCharger w/Intercooler, Slp rockers, Dynatech LTHs, Yank TT3000, Billet servos, ASP pulleys. I can't spend to much(I know the supercharger is 5600 bones but more bang pound for pound). I am getting my ***** detached...I mean married July 21st. Just kidding. I love this woman. I just don't have a lot of money to spend so I want to do mods that are really MODS. Can anyone help me out without confusing me with different ways to go. I can't seem to make up my mind. As Metallica said "Give me fuel, give me fire, my desire!!!"

THe Magnacharger and the ASP pulleys would be counterproductive. Try looking at the dyno chart or looking at some of our trucks that you like and then checking the mods we did. If you rush into purchases you will waste a ton of $.
It is not just a bunch of parts that makes a vehicle go fat BUT rather how well thoses parts work together. Slow down, search and read.

I have thought about swapping out the 5.3 and put in an LS7. 505HP Baby!!! That would be sweet. Top it off with a supercharger. Man, I'm gettin' all hot and bothered just thinkin' about that. I have been asked why I love cars, trucks, and motorcycles. It is the raw emotion and the smell of high octane burnin' The sound of a finely tuned engine puring out everything it has when you smash the pedal. Thats one reason why I love them!

don't waste 13k on an ls7...you can build a badass 6.0 for less than a 1/3 of that
