Default Bolt-on mods

Anybody guess what kind of HP/E.T. I will be making with these mods. 5.3L with VaraRam Intake, Granatelli MAF Sensor, BBK 80mm TB, Helix Power tower TBS, SLP 1.85 Rockers, Motoblue Underdrive Pulleys, Granatelli Plug Wires, Predator Tuner w/92 octane tune, and Yank TT3000 Stall Converter w/Billet Servos? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks and God Speed!!!

~275 / 15.5 (you dont say ec/rc) Most here would agree that the MAF and TB, TB spacer and wires aren't helping much. Rockers add 10/15hp, udp a few more.

Armchair racing sucks....get it to the track

+1 with trever. dont waste your money on the maf, tb, or the tb spacer. Now if you got a ported and polished tb then maybe. Also with the predator, if you want the most hp/tq out of your 5.3L, get a tune from wait4me, pcm4less or dyno tune. they can also change many more things which a predator cant. better bang for your buck.

Wow! Even with a bigger throttle body I wont pick up any HP? So, should I stick with the MotoBlue UDP's, SLP's 1.85 Rockers, Dynatech Long Tubes, Yank TT3000 w/Billet servos. Then get a tune right? I do I get a tune for my truck? I am a little old school. I messed with carbs and distributors. Now it's TBs and DIS.

OOOOPPPPSS!!! I forgot to add. Why won't a Granatelli MAF add HP? Is it just smoke and mirrors. I have heard of a couple of people dyno testing with just the MAF swap and seeing 10-12rwhp. I heard of port and polished TBs but who does that to drive by wire TBs

I'm very curious as to who you know that saw 10-12 rwhp. The idea behind the Granatelli stuff is plain trash. Hell many guys ditch the MAF entirely and go to a speed density tune.

Porting and Polishing your TB is pretty much pointless since I'm 99% sure you have a DBW setup. A bigger throttle body won't make hardly any difference until you start seeing some big HP gains.

If you want a good way to spend $2000 get:
Tune
Efans with harness
Longtubes
TT3000
ASP U/D pulleys
and those rocker arms, or better yet, just ditch the rocker arm idea and run a bigger camcam.

EDIT- If you want a shitty way to spend $2000(AKA don't buy any of this stuff) get:
Granatelli MAF
Throttle Body Spacer
Shorty headers
Tornado
Intake(they actually do work, but a waste of $300 for the gains you see out of them)

You said, "Old school"!
You gotta realize that building power in these new engines is not what it used to be. C'mon, who DIDN'T twist their distributor to pick up timing...

From the factory, these engines are so well balanced and efficient that, the first real power gain achievable is to re-tune OUT some of it's efficency. Much like twisting the cap but it involves changing computer controlled systems like Timing Retard during shifts aka Torque Managment and Timing Advance as a variable relative to Throttle Position. It goes on and on and on...

You will pick up power from an exhaust/tuning combo. I've done before and after of that at the track and on a dyno and seen significant gains of 4/10ths second and +30rwhp/+35rwtq. From there, an Air-Raid tube w/KN drop in filter is bout as good as it gets compared to the other CAI systems and even with intakes you're only going to see 5-10 hp gains in the mid-high range. Personally, I hit 371rwhp on a stock air box and tube w/KN drop filter after my H/C swap and pulled 376hp with an Outlaw box/cone system which, by the way, INCREASED my air temp at the MAF +8'

Just put your money into a cam, 918 springs and some Comp 7.4 pushrods; do your exhaust; get it tuned and you'll be roaring. Then, the combo of the larger TB, MAF and tube MIGHT combine for 15-20 hp but that's all and even if it does, it's only due to drawing more, cool air.

how about throwing an MSD ignition on there? ive heard they yield some pretty good gains in hp and gas mileage.
