Default Bolt on mods

I'm going to hold off on the blower until I get a better job that pays more so if I blow up something I can fix it.
My next bolt on mods that I plan on adding in the next few months are pulleys, maybe e-fans, traction bars, sway bars, cowl hood, roll pan, dumping my true duel exhaust. What do you guys think? Are The pulleys really worth it because my bro has them on his 96' 5.7L Sierra and he says he couldn't tell a damn thing and told me not to waste my money on them. If I got the crank pulley would I need the alt. pulley as well? I don't want my volts going down at anytime. E-fans is there any problem with them, do they drain your battery? Can I just leave them on all the time, even going down the highway, because I don't want to constantly have to keep turning them off and on. Can I use LT1 fans or LS1 fans, are they cheaper and easy to wire up?

If you plan on getting a Blower, plan your mods around it. The pullies will not work with a supercharger, but the other mods will do just fine!

Go with a good set of headers ASMs or TOGs with a good catback system, then a set of dual electric fans, with a Flex-a-lite controller.Do you have a posi and what gears are you running? If you don't have a posi traction is probably an issue with a 5.3 in stock form.

a converter wouldn't be a bad idea either....brian, what would be your suggestion for a converter to accompany the radix later on down the road.

I was running a Yank TT3000 with the 4L60E,now I'm running a 3500 stall converter from BTE racing who built my 4L80E transmission. The TT3000 is hard to beat but won't fit my new combo.

It's a custom built converter,BTE built a race type converter as tight as they could so it could be run on the street. So far it doesn't feel any looser than the Yank.I've had computer issues that have kept me from using the truck,I hope these issues will be resolved next week by switching to a reprogrammed stock PCM from my TCI stand alone computer.I have test driven the truck, the transmission and converter work fine, but I'm afraid that computer issues might do damage to them.I'll post when everything is resolved.
