Default Blocking off egr

I had the egr deleted and i put the plate on the ps headers and left the egr hardware on the engine. I heard that i should block off where it goes into the intake with a cap or plug or whatever. I see that the hose to the intake is metal, so how do i get it off and should i even worry with it?

Thanks,
Derek

get you a plug that will expand to fit the hole where the EGR tube fits into the intake
you can get them at any auto parts store..
then unbolt the EGR pump, and completely remove it..

while this topic is up... other than to deny anymore nasty fumes and crud re-circulating through the engine is there another purpose to do this mod? I mean getting that $hit out once and for all is good enough but anything else?
