from what i understand a ls6 intake actually hurts performance on trucks. not 100% sure about this though. you can try searching for it. i know people have discussed this in the past.

I think that with the LS6 intake it will hurt down low but flow better up top. If you have money to burn and you plan on building a high revving top end screamer, you can get the FAST intake, along with modifying the water pump, swapping in efans, and modifying the accessories to allow clearance for it.

*EDIT* I should have read your sig first...I see you already have an LS1 intake, so you should already have fixed the clearance issues.

I heard it doesnt do any good! The stock intakes provide more Torque and the LS6 intake really wont provide any performance gains. But yes try doing a search on it, it's been discussed before and you'll find why it dont help.

Truck intake is better it gives you the performance down low where you need it to get the heavy *** truck moving.

I've read the truck intake gives better low and mid range hp and tq where the LS6 helps up top the most...CHP magazine did a comparison of the truck intake, LS6, LS1, and Fast in one of the magazines with different cam setups to prove my statement.
