Default Best way to raise engine heighth

I have a swap ls colorado and i need to raise the motor a little bit due to header and exhaust clearence and some other stuff the motot mounts i bought are very hard to modify so i was thinking putting a spacer bettween the mount and the engine will this work?

I don't see why it wouldn't. Get longer hardware that is like grade 8 for maximum strength and it could work.

That wont work exactly that easily since the mounts are angled...

Thats not a bad idea using his poly mounts. He would need measurements of the colorado frame side though to make that it fit. https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...mounts-551340/

Agree. The hole locations will change as you increase the height.
