Talking Best Manual for our Engines?

I NEED to get a manual for our truck engines and have seen several and am unsure on which one has the most beneficial information. I want tear down pics, torque specs, how tos etc and I'd prefer to have it paperbound instead of on a CD rom, although If the Cd is better I can always print off what I need. I don't want to spend a fortune, but I want something more in depth and better than an Auto Zone HAynes $15 jobber. What are ya'll using and/or can you recommend and where to get them (besides waiting on ebay for one to pop up)! THANKS!

Yelo, i think he was talking about an actual book manual for a "how to" deal. The best one I have found is a Chiltons manual, very detailed instructions and good pictures...but also havn't looked very far past the Haynes and Chiltons.

Check out http://www.helminc.com for GM service manuals.

They list the 2003 Sierra Manual for $120.

I ordered my C5 service manual from them.

Yeah, the helms is the factory manual and runs about 100-120, if you paid 300 you got ripped.

Yea, my dad got me one for Christmas, 5 volumes total, more info than you'll ever need. I think you can get it on CD ROM too.

Good deal! Do you have a link for that seller in case he has more CD's? I just order my paper copy. Greasy paper is better than a greasy computer. Hopefully I won't need to reference them with the cam, shift kit, and TC install in the next few weeks. Better safe than sorry though.
