you can get SW headers with a slip fit or flange

The picture I posted is the ORY kit, no cats. They have a real catted y-pipe for about 300 more. I didn't see the flanged collectors, but I see what you mean about the collector turbulence. They have 2.5" collectors and it looks like most others are 3". I think we might be spitting hair for a DD though. I'll hopefully be making a decision soon. Gotta get more info about my other project I want to get started on.

 

dont know if ne one came across this or not, but what are ppl doin about 2004 2500hds that have the one cat behind the pipe connection for half the y pipe and the other cat for the other half is before the connection,

its a 2500hd crew cab short bed 6l, pipes are individual to muffler but as i stated one cats before the y pipe to muffler connection and the others between the connection and the muffler and i haven't seen any long tube header y pipes that will work with the rest of the stock exhaust.
