I would go with the 02 Z06 cam. It added 36rwhp on my buddy's truck, with a loss of 6rwtq. Get 02 springs to go with the cam. I think both cam and springs are about 300-350 bucks from a dealer.
I have a 212/218 comp but, if I had to do it again I would buy the Z06. It idles perfect and makes good power. No SES lights and no tuning. Alot of people look over this cam because it does not have huge numbers and doesn't idle like a funny car. It has a good lobe seperation for forced induction or juice.
With a cam you will need a converter, don't forget that. At least a 3,000 stall. The power gains really don't matter if it takes you forever to get there.
This is my opinion but, I think you will be plenty happy with this cam.

 

the idle doesnt bother me but i just want to do it once so yall are telling me the zo6 cam and valvetrain will work the best with forced induti0on over the 212 218 comp cam

 

Both cams are good for forced induction. Both cams will add about the same amount of power. However, in my opinion the Z06 will be better.

 

so for sure the zo6 instead of the 212 218 comp cam i just want the best horsepower and performance because i want to only do this once please anyone else have any good info for me please
