i havent seen a dyno with the pro cold besides the one on their site, but i do bet it makes good hp. the only thing i dont like about it is, it keeps the factory tubing. personally not a big fan of the tubings looks.

again, to talk about prices. the pro cold, just gives more like an extention that connects near the MAF sensor. i think the pro cold, may be a more expensive too.
i can't see one of the intakes making so much more power than another, thats why its best to go with the one that looks the best to you.

Seems like this is one of those questions where you get 10 different answers from 10 different people I perfer the Volant inductions -

This filter is in a sealed box so you don't hear any induction sound. There is also a scoop available for the 1500 trucks -

This allows cool air to be forced up into the box when the truck is at speed.

I forgot about the Volant's... those sound like the best mix of quality vs performance vs stock driveability going right now.

(I'd be afraid to run a pro-cold or AEM in heavy rain, UPD/K&N cracking, etc.)

, well it would have to be some mean *** rain drops to bounce off the ground and jump 4 feet up in the air, and go right into my aem air filter. even the pro cold is more than likely safe from water

unless you meant something else when you were talking about the heavy rain

I've got the K&N FIPK and I love it. On the dyno without the filter, I only picked up 2rwhp. It fits good and looks cool.

I am going to go with an AEM I think. Are there any filter wears out there? I had a k/n filter on my Yamaha Raptor and I bought a K/N outerwear to protect from water and such....
