well i dont want to tie up alot of money in it before i know how to tune it to take full advantage of any mod i will do in the future

baby steps. but, i dont recommend doing things more than once. do what you think is sufficient. tuning would be the first step id take whether it be hp tuners, efi live, diablo sport etc.... the diablo sport is easy to use if your worried about tuning and can be later used for a custom tune. but youll end up wishing you had spent the extra couple hundred for the hp tuner.

A man I got a gen 3 4.8 lr4 everything is new except for the block I got a stage 3 sloppy cam twins got35 I was wondering do you think that stage three sloppy cam from Elgin work in mt 4.8

You do understand that this is a 16 year old thread?
What size are the GT35 turbos?
What are you going to be using the 4.8 in?
Transmission?
Stall?
Gear ratio?

That is a pretty big cam (238/242 .595/.595 112) for the little 4.8 so your going to need quite the Converter/Gear/Tire combo to get it to come alive.
