Default beef up Tranny parts list

okay i am going to upgrade my 4l60e instead of doing the 80e swap. I was wondering what parts i need to get in order to have it built strong enough for my 383 setup, so i can give them to my mechanic and he can built. i will be getting a shift kit and i already have servos i just would like to konw what everyone recomends to put on the inside internally.

thanks

I'd go ahead and get the 5 pinion planetary gears. Just a little more peice of mind if anything else. I know 02denali broke the 4 pinion one in his tranny

i did. it is on the other hand unusual to break one. i only recomending the hard parts you have broken though. i'd recomend a raybestos blue plate clutch kit with pro series band, superior shift kit, superior billet servo's (both), .490 boost valve, and if needed gm new style hardened sun shell kit. that's a good start.

very interesting on the planetary gear! ne ways i was aware of the team tripp and flp's website and have studied them throughly. altough i don't see were you can buy a performance renbuild kit on there site? i'm looking for somewhere where i can buy a rebuild kit with good parts that will last with my setup so i can simply hand the kit and my transmission to my mechanic and tell him to rebuild it?

I broke both the front and rear 5 pinion planetaries on one transmission, and just the rear 5 pinion planetary on another.I managed to drive home on the trany that just broke the rear one.
