To the people that have the bbk 80mm try and see if your bbk t/b will mount up to the intake! Then you will have to block off the 1/4" hole that feeds the IAC and set the idle that you want.You will also need to cut a hole in the gasket that they send to you for the IAC controler for it to breath right! This is the way i have it now and there is a big difference, but every truck is different you will also need new bolts! the cable hardware they say put on you can use factory setting. later, kevin

What did you use to plug the 1/4" hole that doesn't interfere with the air flow over the butterfly, and how far did you have to adjust for the idle.

right now temporarily i have some window seal tape i rolled up in the hole ,and idle didnt move it at all. took it out for a test run and came back idle is what i set it at. later,kevin

going to seal it with silicone for permenant, but needed to check it out first lol later,kevin

Well track is closed tonight due to rain hit-man-x so next week on the dyno day we will see if the theory is true.

Ok truck wont idle when its cool so going to drill hole in the blade just like the stock one has in it and see if that works, but everything else works later,kevin

Damn stupid rain! lol. I still think you should ebay that BBK! Too much work...sell that BBK and your shorty headers on there for some long tubes.

hey hit man thats the fun of it playing lol well after lots of thinking and self motivation i finally went out and drilled the hole in the blade path and it idles at 630 rpms just the way the tuneing king allen at nelson performance set it at lol!!!! now we will find out what kinda hp it realy gives at the dyno next sat. later, kevin
