My friend just got a 5.3L truck. He wants to know what these truck usually run in stock form and what are some good basic bolt - on's he can do? I was thinking, some kind of intake and a pair of LT's maybe. His truck is extended cab but he says he wants to make it somewhat fast. Thanx alot.

intake/exaust , programming is pretty much the basics.

Volant Intake, ASM longtube headers, and a catback... nelson tune.

It'll make his truck a bit more peppy.
