Default automatic 4.8

I have an 05 with the little 4.8 and its an auto tranny. I have 3:73's, limited slip, custom CAI, e-fans, and just added a nelson tune. I want to know if some ls1 heads will bolt up on the motor. also i am wanting a cam.

LS1 heads should bolt up, but I'd look at something aftermarket first. AFR is hard to beat, and so are the Edelbrocks for the money...

LS1s will bolt up no problem. I have them on mine. They will lower you CR alittle, which will hurt you in the NA category, but would help if you went FI.

CR = compression ratio, FI = Forced induction, such as a supercharger.

Oh, and N/A = all motor(no power adders such as nitrous, a supercharger, a turbo).

ROFLCOPTER son I believe you are mistaken in your reading of the previous posts. They are indeed talking about heads. Not headers.
