I have a Nelson tuned PCM right now. Wonder if they've tuned that engine b4...

Look at thompson or hke. That enigne is stock with a very mild cam.

FYI, I got my afrs and lq9 longblock for a $100 less. They are used though.

Nice. Yeah, I was going to call Thompson. The power ratings are right where I wanted to be with this one though. what are you making with yours?

I understand not everyone wants a max effort engine. And no doubt that engine would run well and be fun to drive. But they could've at least used arp hardware and 243s for the price.

My engine's numbers were disappointing. It was pulling vacuum on the intake after the heads went on. Only dyno'd 404/408. It still runs good. Kind of at a crossroads on what to do next with it though.

How big would you go with the injectors?

You could use the 8.1 truck injectors which plug right in and the tuning changes are easily made. Make sure your fuel pump is up to the task.
