Any of you guys with a Procharger have a pic of the intercooler and where/how it's mounted.
I'm thinking it's probably mounted at an angle down in front of the engine crossmember area. That seems like a decent sized area to mount an intercooler.
If you have a pic just email it to me or post it up. I appreciate it.
Thanks
John

i dont have pics but i can tell you its mounted in a flat position no angle where the factory sheild goes under the middle of the bumper, bolts on the crossmember where the sheild would go.. it has some flap to deflect air into it... not the best design but it works

I should have known. ATI likes to mount the intercooler flat and put a little deflector on it, not the best setup but, I know they work.
Now to call and price just an intercooler up.
BTW - Thanks lm7.

I just sold a 2 core off of my Mustang a little while back for $290.00.Before you order a new one you might want to shop around for a used one. They had several of them on www.corral.net when I was selling mine.(Assuming you wanted to save a penny and just wanted the intercooler not needing all the correct tubing) New they go for somewhere around $550.00 to $600.00 for a 2 core.Just a thought but have you checked out the Powerstroke Intercooler?I know a couple of guy's around here that are running them.

Jeez, that Powerstroke intercooler is HUGE.
39" * 18" * 2.5" with 3" I/O
IF it would fit someplace that would be the ticket. For some reason
I don't think it will though.
Yeah, just looking for an intercooler that will fit. As long as it doesn't leak I don't care if it's new or used.
I haven't really looked too hard yet at measurements and available space though.

The two guy's that are running it around here( both with trucks)are running it right in front of their radiator's.Plenty of space if you have electric fan's.(I would think anyway)

I hope you don't buy a ATI intercooler, at least for a truck. I love my ATI but, I hate the intercooler. It is a 2 core and it is small. I am looking for a bigger intercooler when my new motor is built.
I built a scoop for my intercooler. It helped out a little. The IAT temps went down about 2-6 degrees, just cruising around.
What are you building?
